The art is pretty but rather old-fashioned for me. It makes me think of the artwork in my grandmother's house. I loved the detail the author went into about painting but there wasn't much detail on the drawing part which is the part I need the most help. I think this book would be useful to someone with a medium skill set more than a beginer.
