Is It Bad That I Want The Dragons To Win?
The beginning was ominous and the outcome just the same, who doesn't love a good mass slaughter? There's also a little heartbreak right from the get go and I am here for it.
I really enjoy the way the author writes from Alpheratz's P.O.V. and how they seamlessly detail some of the anatomy of the dragon, it's fascinating.
The only reason I rated the book 4 stars VS 5 stars: at the beginning, there are multiple P.O.V.s within the same chapter and they switched a little too quickly for me. I understand why and I believe the reason for it will make more sense later in the book but as a first impression, I wish it'd been done just a little bit neater.
Overall though - a solid 4 stars!
