This book was slightly intense and kept you on your toes. It was a quick read, and I sat down an read it front to back in just a few hours. There were some issues with transition. For example, there were times when one person was talking and then suddenly another was talking. I'm not sure if that was on purpose due to the bipolar nature of the character; however, it was slightly confusing. Also, the plot moved quite quickly. One second she moved to the city, the next she met a guy and he was moving into her apartment. Also, in terms of two murders there wasn't even any buildup. All of a sudden the character is shooting people. I'm a concise writer myself; however, this novel seemed to be lacking detail and a little substance in terms of making the characters likeable, relatable, and meaningful. The premise of the book was unique. While I generally am not a fan of mental illness as a "reason" behind the storyline the ending was interesting. All-in-all, this felt more like a rough draft than a finished story.
