This is an enticing psychological thriller about twin sisters who have struggled with mental illness, stemming from an incident that happened when they were nine years old. When the story opens Alexa is a young adult and purportedly healthy enough to live on her own in New York City, ready to start the new job she has just claimed. As she begins her new journey, she is immediately bombarded with unexpected changes - her twin sister, who was recently released from a mental facility, comes to live with her; new demands for a job she is enjoying; a guy she met the first day of work and fell quickly for; etc. She is absorbing all these challenges, while still checking in with her psychologist and Dad. I'm going to stop here, as I don't want to give away any of the many twists.

This is a definite page turner; the author has written the book in such a way that details about the plot are only gradually revealed - SLOWLY, in a good way. Just as one thinks they have figured out what is happening and who is doing what, there is another twist in the story - all the way through to the very end!! It was very engaging and fun to read. I liked the drawn-out suspense.
