3.5 stars I was first drawn to this book because of the cover. It caught my eye and I couldn't wait to crack open this new novel. I also love debut novels and thrillers so this hit two of my favorite things. This is definitely an interesting story and a surprisingly quick read. I wish It had an additional 50-75 pages so we could have dug a little deeper into the characters. The scenes moved by quickly but the author did a good job creating the scene. I could smell the subway and imagined the tiny apartment. I had a good idea about this situation early on. That didn't ruin the story for me at all. I just didn't get as lost in the novel as I normally would. It would make a good movie though. I would recommend It to someone who likes a quick thriller and I will look for more from this author.
