I think that a lot of what makes a book good is the first sentence. This book does a good job of grabbing you attention from the start. The book opens with the main character (Alexa) explaining her current situation. She was sitting in a police station and comparing it to what she has seen on T.V. After that we are filled in on a little bit of the plot and it only gets better from there.
