This book sounds quite good. I can't gather much from the synopsis or the first few sentences, but that is a good thing. It's a thriller, so I wouldn't want the synopsis to give everything away. I find Alexa to be a very relatable character already. She is trying to figure out her place in the world and she is doing that by acting like an adult. She is also learning about herself and her family history throughout the book. I'm sure there are lots of twists and turns, and honestly, this could end up being a fun and cozy book to curl up with one wintery day.
