I'll admit, I was into the premise of this book until I got to the part about Beth coming back from a psychiatric hospital. As someone who has mental illnesses, I hate when it's used as a plot point or is the reason a character is "evil" or the villain. Based on what I read, I am worried that this is going to happen in this book.
