My first thought is "What happened for us to get to the police station at the beginning?" I'm sure the book will answer but I am curious. I am also very curious about what happened with Beth. Both of these things have made me wonder what's going on with this family other than the father being overprotective. I think Alexa is a good character in the sense that she doesn't seem to fall into the trap of the book trying to tell you she's a good person when her actions seem to contradict that statement. I think that the scenes don't drag out too long nor are they too fast paced.
