The Dirty Dozen is a great blend of Law and Order with A British twist. When Jane is transferred to the Flying Squad she knows she is going to have to work her way in to the good graces of the long time officers already there
But as time to time passes she is slowly excepted into the group and helps with the mysteries.
I did enjoy the story but because I was unaware of some of the terminology that is used with the with the London police I did have to take time to look up what some of the meanings were for terms that the cops used That was fun looking at and I don’t think it took anything away from the book.
I believe that this will be a great read for anyone looking for not only a great mystery but also opportunity to look into other countries as they use some of the same techniques but it but call it different things to get to the same result of solving crime .
I also enjoy the fact that even though she may have not been wanted at the beginning of the mystery and she had to work a way to be in a acceptable place it was done with Grace humor and the dedication to solve a mystery.
I would recommend this book to any mystery buff And anyone who may want to visit another country
