I was lucky enough to receive a copy of this book from Bookish First many months ago before it was released. I tried for months and months to read it, yet every time I didn't want to read it or anything else for that matter. Unfortunately, I just couldn't put myself through that anymore and had to DNF it. I'm giving it two-stars, since I didn't enjoy it, but I would rather not give it a starred rating at all since I didn't finish it.
So why was this so hard for me to read? The writing just wasn't for me. It was very descriptive, and the characters bored me. The plot was alright, but it was more about how police/detective work is compared to what I enjoy more which is mystery-solving. There isn't really a mystery here, just bank robberies.
That being said, I'm sure some people will enjoy this book, it just isn't my cup of tea.
