It's April 1980 in London. Jane Tennison has been transferred to the Mets Flying Squad, commonly known as the "Sweeney". When she arrives a bank robbery is in progress and she is pulled into the fray on her first day on the job. Gun fire can be heard over the radio as the robbers make their escape. A cry of officer down than a crash and then silence. Will they make it in time to catch the robbers? The author has done a great job of holding your attention and keeping the story flowing so smoothly. It is not easy for a woman to fit in with the men who have worked together in this police station without feeling out of place. I look forward to reading more of her work in the near future. Good Job
