This was my very first book by Linda La Plante also making it my First Jane Tennison book.
I’m this book Jane was to join a new squad, all men, and before she even gets her formal interview she’s thrown into a crime scene. A robbery to be exact. The men on this squad aren’t too excited about having a woman on the team and they don’t really hide it so Jane makes it her mission to prove herself by solving a rumored robbery before anyone else gets the chance.
Jane is an amazing character. She doesn’t take I for an answer and she surely doesn’t let anyone stand in her way. I really enjoyed reading this book and getting to know Jane. She is someone that can be looked up to. I loved how fast paced this book was and I literally could not put it down!
