This was a very interesting book. The story was fast paced through most of the book and it pulled me in from the very first chapter. A woman, Jane, is hired for the Flying Squad, or "Sweeney" as it is called by those who work there. When she arrives on her first day to interview, even before she meets her new boss, she is thrown into a robbery gone bad with her coworkers. They get a call about a bank robbery, but it is actually men robbing the truck that brings the money to the bank. Things go south and men get shot.
When Jane finally gets everything official for her hiring, the men in the Flying Squad are not too happy to have a woman join their group. In an effort to make a good impression for herself, Jane hears details about a gang that is going to pull off a huge robbery for an exorbitant amount of money and decides that she is going to solve this case and get the recognition she deserves.
I liked this book a lot and stayed interested the entire time I was reading it. I highly recommend it!
