I went into reading this first look with a slight bias. You see, I adore Jane Tennison. So I knew that I was going to love the next installment in her adventures. And I wasn't disappointed!
But more on that in a minute. The cover is perfect. It looks exactly like the rest of the series, in that it fits well with the set. Though I do like the changeup for the colors.

And then there's the first look. It was perfect. In fact, I can't wait until the release date so I can read more! Jane is just as tough as I remembered her. And of course, she's still up to her neck in messes. I honestly can't wait to see how this plot unfolds.
