The Jane Tennison series has been wonderful and so far The Dirty Dozen seems like it will only add to it. LaPlante is an amazing author.
Jane has to deal with male officers who don't think she can cut it as a detective. No one seems to know she is supposed to be there which starts things off on a rather sour note.
