This was a novel that featured some tough characters living in a dystopian future in Atlanta. Almost all of the characters have enhancements that make them extraordinary. The main character, Nina is my type of lead character. She is a librarian, knows how to kick butt, has a great heart and is also a clone. The other main character is Knox. He also has enhancements but his are going to kill him unless he can get help. The problem is he is a captain of other soldiers who also have enhancements that need updating. Nina and Knox come together to go on a mission. What ensues will have far reaching consequences for all of them.
There were definitely parts of this book I enjoyed. There was romance and also a little mystery. There was definitely action. However I felt the book was very military based. I would have liked a little less. An interesting start to a series.
