I didn't want to put this book down. A darker world after solar flares have destroyed much of the satelites and the planet where humans are trying to survive with governments crumbling and corporations popping up to create genetically enhanced humans. It's every person for themselves to survive. Action packed, intricate storyline, amazing character development. The book wasn't what I was expecting. The 2 main large corporations in Atlanta are competiting to make the next best super human to control and test on, basically making super soldiers to carry out their orders without question. They have their own "territories" in a sense and there are those in the streets who are normal humans trying to get by. I loved it all. I'm looking forward to the next installment of the series.
