I'm a huge fan of Kit Rocha, so I was delighted to get a chance to read the first chapter of their new book. All the things that draw me to their writing are present here - the strong heroine, the found family (Knox's, in this case, but I'm betting Nina will have the same thing), the edge of your seat action, and the intricate - but not info dumpy - world-building. This first chapter was a great beginning, and I can't wait to read more!
