Concept is interesting but the execution so far is lacking

The comparison to The Ring and Rear Window sounded interesting but that's kinda where it ended. The story is moving too slow for me. I'm not a fan of the writing style and since I'm not into streaming there's a lot of lingo I don't get. I really don't like the main character. Most of the reasons I'm not into YA are showing up in this book.
