FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC! Holy crap. This is exactly what I needed to pull me out of a reading slump I have been on for months on end. The mysterious vibe, the characters, deception, lies and I can’t even stop there. Even though this was just a sneak peak into what this book is about, it was enough for me to give it 5 stars and permanently put it into my to be read pile. The main character Grey is fabulous and very relatable. Small town girl who lost her mom and has to bounce between her dads house and her grandmothers for the summer. I loved the journey(if that is even what you want to call it) Grey has to go on to find her best friend Elora who went missing. The twists and turns and the psychic abilities is just an added pleasure to the book. I would love to have the opportunity to read this novel front to back. I have never read a book by the author and I am not skipping out on the authors past and future work
