This was incredible, it gripped me immediately and kept me guessing until the end.

This thriller is set in La Cachette, Lousiana--the psychic capital of the world. When Grey returns home for the summer after her best friend goes missing, she's left to unravel the town's secrets in order to figure out what happened.

There is a mysticism that author Ginny Myers Sain threads throughout the characters, plot and setting of this book that is unlike anything else I've read this year. I had multiple suspicions but was ultimately surprised by the way everything played out.

Don't let the "supernatural" label turn you off if that is not typically your thing. Without spoiling anything I can assure you it's not gimmicky at all or used in a way to trick the reader, it's more of a complementary additive theme to a really great story.

The audio was incredible. There are these produced chapter interludes that allude to what Grey is feeling and add to the overall audiobook experience. Narrator Emma Ashton also infused some Cajun accents into some of the characters, which I enjoyed.

Thank you to PRHAudio for the complimentary audiobook! All thoughts and opinions are my own.
