I know I am writing this review like a year after I actually read the book, but thats what happens when you don't find bookishfirst until this year.

I still think about Dark and Shallows Lies. This book was INCREDIBLE and it kept you guessing at every single twist and turn. It made you think literally anyone and everyone was guilty at one point or other but was so good about dying up all of those loose ends.

I picked this book up on a whim cause it was new at the library and once I started writing I didn't stop. I needed to know what happened next. The book had such a beautiful way of building up to the final conflict and, mild spoiler alert, the storm happening in the storm was the perfect atmospheric touch to make the scene that much more powerful.

I went into a book coma after finishing this book and that doesn't happen very often anymore. I would recommend it to anyone who would listen and can't wait to read more by this author
