These first few chapters really drew me in! This is definitely a thriller that made my heart start beating a faster. I loved the vivid description of the town and people south of the Louisiana border, with lots of bayous, mysticism, and things lurking beneath the surface. I wanted to know more about the cast of characters, especially what happened to the young girl who mysteriously disappeared. The cover is beautiful and mysterious - wonderful!
