I think the writing is compelling, and the plot is definitely engaging. I'm very interested in reading more to see what happened to Elora. I also want to know if Grey and Hart become a thing because even though the book has just begun, I already ship them super hard. I was concerned that this would fall flat for me because the protagonists are so young, but the writing is solid, and I'm definitely invested in the story and characters. The cover is stunning and perfectly eerie.
