Yet another murder mystery to keep me up at night! I like the idea of the psychic town ( I don't buy it but it's fun) and the Summer Children, each with their own abilities. What I'd really like to know is, who is this Dempsey Fontenot character? Is he a murderer? Is he someone from the town's early beginnings or a recent citizen? Did he ever really exist? And how did he end up the Summer Children's boogeyman?
I like the writing style and find it mature and believable. Based on the First Look, this is clearly one of those slow-burn stories. It's a tale that's going to take it's time to get to the point and once it does, it's going to be unexpected and explosive. Or so I hope.
I'm looking forward to reading this book once it's published.
