He was able to connect with his Persian heritage, his extended family, and he was able to finally make a true friend of himself. Sohrab had never treated Darius anything less than the best at all times. It was this connection that helped paved the way for Darius to accept himself and confront the truth behind his dad's distance with himself. Adib Khorram’s brilliant debut is for anyone who’s ever felt not good enough—then met a friend who makes them feel so much better than okay.
