Perfect description of a time that I once felt

This book intrigues me in a thoughtful manner, it reminded me much of my own struggles as I moved from my home country in the middle east to america a very different country, and how I struggled fitting in with this new world that I had been thrown in much like Darius, for example the language barrier, and the cultural differences between them. I appreciated how well this author wrote much of these struggles and how thoughtful and greatly detailed his words were. if you are a person who loves reading realistic fiction and about race and culture I greatly recommend this book because it helped me put into words what I once felt and see that I was not alone in my feelings at the time.
