Darius has always had difficulties fitting in, whether its with classmates or even in his own family. His mother is Persian and his father is American, leaving him not knowing who he is at times. When his family decides to go to Iran to visit family Darius must find a way to get his Persian family to understand his depression and get his father to understand who he is.
