Heartwarming and heartbreaking
"How could I be a tourist in my own past?"
This book was really special to me. As someone who's always felt like they wont be good enough to anyone, it really hit home. I've moved around throughout the years, and sometimes between two countires. While it was hard to fit in one place, it was all the harder to try and also fit in another. I really related to Darius, and this was definitely a very emotional and beautiful read. Darius also has his family that dont quite understand his depression, which can be really hard. I really loved Darius and Sohrabs friendship. When you're feeling lost in life and unsure of yourself, sometimes a friend who you can feel yourself with can make a difference.
