The premise of the novel, the writing, the characterization, the pacing...everything in this preview seems phenomenal. But for some reason, I kept checking to see how much more was left, and not because I wanted to prolong the preview. I want Darius' life to get better - that might be why I was so anxious to move on, and it's also why I will pick up the book to finish it.
