Glad I gave it a try!

I started cracking up from the first few pages. Darius' voice is hilarious and I love all the nerdy references throughout the story. I was surprised when I got to the part where he takes his depression medicine, but I was also able to relate to it since I've dealt with my own depression in the past. I'm not sure I would have picked up this book based on the cover, but it seems to follow the same style as other contemporary YA novels. I am very glad I gave this story a go. I am looking forward to Darius trip to Iran, meeting Sohrab, and hopefully mending his relationship with his father.
