Not Your Typical Matchmaking Website
This book has a very intriguing factor to it. A matchmaking website ran by Cupid himself. What makes the book even more fascinating is our main character, Lila Black is matched to THE Cupid himself. The 20 page preview didn’t “wow” me. The preview didn’t leave me absolutely craving more, but it did leave me wondering what else could possibly happen in the rest of this book and I wouldn’t be opposed to reading the whole book.
Do I recommend you give this preview a try and see if it’s your cup of tea? Of course, I think there’s potential. I predict this book is probably gonna be a fluffy contemporary with no substance other than the fact Lila and Cupid have that “forbidden love” aspect. This book is also giving me some Fifty Shades of Grey vibes from Cupid being this “bad boy” who Lila should definitely should stay away from.
