I really have a hard time not finishing books but this book is so bad I gave up about halfway through. This is one of those books with a premise that sounds much better than the actual book. I liked the fun concept of the world having real Cupids who are involved in matchmaking but unfortunately the writing is just awful and the plot is very juvenile. This book is basically Twilight but with Cupids instead of vampires. Lila is not an interesting heroine. She is a very bland character that will not hold your attention. The author does a lot of telling and very little showing. The plot does not have much going on and it quickly grew tiresome. This is YA book that will not be appreciated by adults. I highly recommend skipping this book in favor of another book that’s worth reading. Thanks to BookishFirst I received an advanced copy of this book to review in exchange for an honest review.
