This was a really cute story, and I enjoyed the premise. However I felt the execution could have been better. If I never see the name Cupid again, it will likely be too soon. Calling every Cupid and also the actual one by the same name just felt very repetitive and I think they could have been “agents” or Cupid could have been incognito as “Cooper” or something. Unfortunately, this really distracted me from the story.
Overall, some aspects of the story felt very rushed, especially near the end. And while unanswered questions usually leave you wanting more, I don’t even know what questions to ask. It feels as though I would need to read 12 more books to find answers that should have been in the first, and I’m just not sure I was invested enough to continue with any more.
