Honestly, the whole premise of this book seems... dumb, but I'd be willing to give it a chance. Unfortunately, the first two chapters don't make the best impression—the set up is wholly unrealistic. An omnipotent organization like the Cupids Matchmaking Service would be better prepared for Lila's visit, especially since they'd REQUESTED IT, and they'd also handle the visit better. Their handling of the situation is so unbelievable that I see this not as a flaw in their business management but as a flaw in the author's plotting: It's inconsistent, given the way the organization is characterized. I'm just... not impressed. But who knows—maybe the book gets better after this.
