First of all, I should note I’m not much of a fantasy reader, and CUPID’S MATCH primarily works in that genre while also mashing up aspects of romantic comedy in its plot. Maybe for some this is just the read they’re looking for, but the implausibility of the entire concept behind the book is too much of a hurdle for me.
