The arrows and the color red on the book cover really bring in the connection to Cupid, and the sensation of being struck, or in this case, chosen. Upon reading the excerpt, I already like the character of Lila, who is clearly strong and independent, the kind of girl not to be messed with. The whole idea of the "cupids" being so calculated is interesting too, seeing as love itself is anything but cold. I'm very interested in how this story goes, considering it is set up to be both mystical and messy.
