This book has elements of fantasy and flightiness, but I think that I could see myself reading it. However, I would be afraid that it may not strike the right balance between myth and reality -- I would need to know more about the mythological characters for understanding the plot, but I wouldn't need an elementary primer handed to me, either. I think this book would be a fun read.
