Reading the summary, I was interested because of the dating service idea, and then being matched with a ~God~. yaaas - but the "secret society" aspect made me think of "The Love Interest" by Cale Deitrich.
The writing does a lot of "showing" instead of telling, but I would be lying if I said I got mad that there wasn't more story after I reached the last page in the excerpt... What is Cal going to show her/!!?
