Pirates are great. Royalty is great. Pirates competing for a crown? I am interested! I love the conflicting perspectives we are bound to see as they all contend for the Bone Crown. The two main characters we have met so far are interesting and Vale has given us just a little hint of their backstories, leaving me wanting to know more about them. I also want to know more about this world; pirates are prosecuted in some areas but seem to flourish in others? Great tension I can't wait to see unravel!
While the cover is interesting, I am disappointed that it does not hint towards the multiple POVs of the book. The detail is beautiful, but I wish there were some sort of indication that this is not a single POV novel.
