I have a cousin who just had a baby and these cute little animals caught my eye. I have tried knitting and taught young kids a basic stitch. I love that each animal option has difficulty level and gives the reader a crochet terminology chart so beginners like me can start at a basic level and work their way up. They even break down each patter in the back so you know how to make each piece in detail.
I feel like once I get started I believe I will be the grandma that is able to make a whole cute elephant set and giraffe set for my future grand kids. In fact, I have already logged into Amazon and ordered a set of crochet hooks so I can start as soon as possible. Although, I am not ready to start an animal I am going to start with the basic stitches she showed us in the book and move forward from there. :)
