The instructions are clear. The patterns are rated from basic to more challenging so any type of someone who crochet can do these. It includes recommendations for yarn. It has a section on how to secure the rugs so they aren't slippery. It adds enhancements for how to make eyes and bow ties. It has rugs, pillows, and bag instructions for all types of projects that children would love to receive. The assembling instructions are very easy to follow and if you knit or crochet you probably already have what you need to do a project.
