I don't crochet or knit so this craft book goes way over my head, but I appreciated that the author includes terminology, crochet techniques, and sewing stitches, all with illustrations. I think the patterns and projects I've seen look super cute and perfect for a child's bedroom or play room. I'd definitely recommend this to my friends who like to crochet, but it doesn't seem suitable for a beginner.
