I have been reading books with a similar genre/plot and I enjoyed this one immensely. It is a love story that takes place in WWII and revolves around Gerhard Von Meerbach and Saffron Courtney. He becomes a pilot for Germany and she becomes a British spy. The story revolves around their two perspectives and how they reconvene. This book is part of a larger series but I haven't read any of them and was okay reading this as a standalone. If anyone is looking for a story with a powerful female lead, this is a good one. I've noticed my favorite war genre novels have a strong female character who isn't focused on nurturing and loving and instead is literally in the battle making a difference. Such a great book!
