Have I ever mentioned that I LOVE history? Any books that are even remotely based on history I have to read it’s a no brainer for me. So when I saw this book I knew I just had to read it. And it did not disappoint.
The book for sure took me on a trip. From the heart break of having the two lovers being separated... it broke my heart. I could never imagine going through something like that and coming it whole in the other side. It was beautiful, heart wrenching, and added just enjoy jazz and drama to keep the book from being dull.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who like me loves history. You might learn a think or two that you didn’t know before. Five stars all the way. Can’t wait to see what else this author writes!
