This definitely has a moral quandary in it, since our male lead, Gerhard, is forced to work on behalf of his German fatherland. And his love Saffron, separated from him, is sent on a mission to Belgium.

Both the Germans and the British (based in Scotland) have an old-timey feel and courtliness to their interactions, which feels very like a film of the era.

The human interactions, office politics, and role-playing add to the psychological games our characters must confront and win.

I think in a film, this would definitely build up to an exciting conclusion as our characters crisscross Germany and pursue their missions, and each other. It is definitely an epic, sweeping tale that carries you along!
