Historical fiction is my first love, especially other than the many WW2 stories I've read over the years. I am intrigued by this story, however, because both main characters are fully immersed in the war, not just an soldier or agent and his usual romantic interest. The writing is smooth and draws the reader's interest with just the right amount of description and action. I'm hoping this blend will continue throughout the book.
