Corrupted Humours is about Owen Berk who is asked to look into the death of a doctor during a routine surgery. At the same time the reader is also reading the book Owen Berk is writing that is based on his investigation in to the doctor and all of the people he meets. The story was interesting - i was really curious how it was going to wrap up - i was very thankful for the last chapter and the epilogue! without it i would have been disappointed.
the writing style did take me some time to get used to as it was without quotation marks and sometimes the paragraphs jumped to the next person and it was hard to understand who was talking at the time. I also found that the novel within the novel was blurring with the rest of the story.
