When I read the first impression I thought it would end up turning out a little different than it did. I hate writing reviews that aren't positive, but I had so much trouble getting into the book, I actually didn't finish it I couldn't push myself to keep going. There were some intriguing parts, but overall not as interesting as I thought it would be. Some of the medical situations are of intrigue since years back I worked in a hospital so I can appreciate some of this story, and some of the fart jokes helped lighten the mood. I love mystery, so I was a little let down that this mystery wasn't as intriguing as I had hoped. Some of the book was hard to follow where the story lines were going and intersecting. As a woman some of the scenes described or verbalized were very unappealing. I have left my honest review in exchange for winning the Bookishfirst contest.
